When 3 time Olympian Aaron Piersol is not training or prepping for competition, we see him hit the beach. He surfs it up weather it's surfing or body surfing. Now that he has retired he can visit some of his favourite spots more often such as the Wedge in Newport Beach, California., for body surfing, and a small beach in Nosara, Costa Rica for surfing.
In this image we see Aaron enjoying the wave of Hawaii's north shore one of his favorite waves too.
Many people ask why do we swim here we see Aaron answers it perfectly;" swimming is more than just up and down, back and forth, in a pool, looking down at that black stripe.
Swimming is about water, and our planet is water, and water is life itself.
Here is something ells I agree with :
“If I could get each swimmer on the (U.S.) national team one thing,” Aaron was saying the other day, “it would be a pair of body-surfing fins.
“Get out there and have fun. Don’t lose perspective on why you do this.”
But for me it would be a surf board.
All together Aaron is said to be quite a laid back type of guy with a great sense for what he wants in his life.
He has turned out be a very successful man in whatever he set his mind too.
